how many people use "request new winner" feature?
while creating the poll, I was thinking about this
I would put the feature that can only be used if there is no confirmation from the winner that he has received / activated the key in Steam (but perhaps it would also be a little too complicated, people could change the privacy settings, and would make cannot see if he activated the key).
then now I read this message on the won keys page:
Please remember, all games you receive need to be activated on your corresponding Steam account to remain in good standing. Users failing to do so will receive a suspension.

I use that every time a winner has unactivated/multiple wins to check if they've gotten their suspension yet. That's what Support told me to do when I asked them what to do in a situation like that. I've opened 33 tickets in 138 giveaways apparently.

Well, they can't. The request has to be approved by a Support member. They only approve it if the winner accepts a reroll, they aren't accepting the gift in a week or if the user has a reason to get suspended/was recently suspended. Not all of my tickets got rerolls because the winners had already been banned for the rules they broke before, that means I had to send them their game.

How thin skin do you have? It was an extremely logical question concidering you have to create GAs in order to increase the chance of using the feature.

Are you for real? Do you want some help with something?

Misuse of the reporting system is why legitimate tickets take months to be resolved, blocked and reported

You do realize that you can only blacklist 1000 people, right? You are going to run out of BL slots quickly with attitude like this.

I guess you where wrong concidering you got suspended for 4 weeks.
I sure hope you get the help you need so you dont act like this in public. Not one person was provocative or offensive to you. I guess the point we where making to you went so far over your head that something snapped.

It's not something to love or hate. It's just a tool. When you need it - you use it. You can't just use it without reason anyway (well, you can try, but your ticket will be rejected).

It's not surprising that you don't use that feature since you only made 6 giveaways in the last ~6 years lol. For people who make a lot of giveaways, especially public ones this feature comes quite in handy sometimes when you want to re-roll on a rule-breaker or on someone who already owns the game, maybe sometimes winner changes their mind and asks for a reroll. I've done that once, decided I wouldn't play the game after all so I asked the giveaway maker to re-roll and give it to someone else who would hopefully play it.
