[Update] GRID Autosport - the next game in the GRID series and descendant of TOCA Touring Cars!

On April 17th, Codemasters posted this video on Youtube:

According to a forum post on NeoGAF, a mysterious user called "CodiesLoore" whom it is assumed represents Codemasters,
posted that: it's not a DLC. (This was also confirmed by official GRID Youtube channel on the video's comments)
He also said: *"Cockpit view? We listened.."

He returned later, to post this: "Also, this isn't a port, just to dismiss those rumours :)".

It won't be a next-gen port of Grid 2, the comment "this isn't a port, just to dismiss those rumours" was about that.

Asseto Corsa is a Simulator while GRID is an Arcade Racer, there's no comparison between them ;)

Probably something crappy like Grid 2 or Dirt Showdown, or maybe some half-finished shovel-ware like F1 201N.

I doubt they're going back to good games, like ToCA or CMR.

Sounds like a step in the right direction, let's hope they can pull it off. I guess we'll see right around the summer seal (so I guess we'll be able to get the Grid 2 pack for Dirt cheap)
