Some riddles, no more 50% off coupon for "AaaaaAAaaaAAAa!!! for the Awesome"

Hey guys! I just got this 50% off coupon for AaaaaAAaaaAAAa!!! for the Awesome on Steam, is expiring on August 13th and I have no plans for it, so maybe somebody could take advantage of it in the next days.

As I was going to St. Ives
I met a man with seven wives.
Each wife had seven sacks,
Each sack had seven cats,
Each cat had seven kits;
Kits, cats, sacks and wives,

Now that you have so much energy and want more challenges, here is a couple of riddles for you insatiable minds:

1. Given that x^(x^(x^(x^(x^(x^(x^(x^(x…)))…) = 2, solve for x.

2. There are three boxes. One has apples, one has oranges and the other has apples and oranges. The boxes are labeled wrong so that no label is correct. Sue opens just one box, and without looking in the box, takes out one piece of fruit. She looks at the fruit and immediately labels all the boxes correctly. Which box did she open and how did she know?
