thank you so much, I've always loved writing and reviewing stuff, I did that for a rock/metal website for years and I always try to find the time to play indie/obscure/casual games and review them =P my main concern is to be of some help to other players and potential buyers, since there are lots of awesome games out there but also lots of crappy things that must not be bought and supported xD The negative thing is that often these games have just 3-4 reviews in a non-Latin alphabet so one can't get an idea unless he pays and plays..
thanks a lot, it's definitely Kain (one of my favourite male characters ever in the series!) and in 2 full years (3 years in total with lots of void in between xD) I managed to cover my right leg with tattoos of FF characters =P only female though, but I've also a chocobo and a moguri on my hip xD Yeah, born in the '80s in Europe, we had only few JRPGs and I fell in love with them! wish you all the best =)

Yeeees!I'm that kind of player who really enjoy indies(unpopular or underrated) and prefer to read reviews(especially from friends)before purchase,wondering what the developer hides there,maybe a gem,a stone,or a landmine? Is there any unique feature?is the game related to some interesting specific culture?will I get immersed in this curious little world?
And,sometimes a game is just a game,but sometimes I feel the author(mostly story-driven and decision-based ones) wants to express / explain / exhibit his thoughts / insights / emotions or something——he wants to communicate , through dialogues,arts,intimations,all kinds of designs……
I‘m always looking for these sparkling details in reviews.So it's me who should say thanks for these reviews.They are valuable,at least for me.<3

Love Kain as well,partly because he's a dragoon,the same reason for Estinien in FFXIV.←since I know that you dont play MMORPG,is there any plot-only video on youtube?XIV really tell a classical but still moving story with fantastic music,the theme of v3.0 <Dragonsong> —an epic piece about the thousand-year-long war between human and dragon—has replaced<月の明り>as my 2nd favourite song in FF series.(1st is <Eyes On Me>,of course)

Yes, I stopped playing mmorpg with ultima online and world of warcraft and unfortunately I don't know ANYTHING about final fantasy 14 ç_ç although I don't care about spoilers or whatever, since being a mmorpg I know I'll never play it! =P I'll read or watch something about that character ;)
oh well, I learned eyes on me at the guitar, it's so awesome, but i've got so many memories linked to final fantasy songs of any kind.. melodies of life for many reasons is probably my favourite though, but as I saw speaking to lots of other FF players, it varies with emotions, when you played that for your first time.. I met guys 10+ years younger than me that were impressed by FFX 'cos it was literally the first final fantasy they played due to their age, and maybe I got the same emotions from the previous chapters.. oh, thanks for all the suggestions, I'll check everything out =P I'm sure there are lots of things about FF14 even if you don't play it!
I'm really really happy of your views and ideas on indie games and reviews too, that's something that motivates me to do my best on Steam (for free of course xD) =) oh and I come from so many years on Kongregate and similar website where indie games where the only thing you could find xD I found so many awesome games that have never really made it into Steam or other platforms and they are just lying there as free Flash games.. fortunately, other SNES/GBA etc. video games potentially can reach more public although I still think there are gems not that known.. (I always think of one of my favourite rpgs ever, riviera - the promised land, which seems unknown even to those who have been into the genre for 20 years xD)

Yeah,That sort of thing varies from person to person.To me,Melodies Of Life is in my bedtime songlist :D.It can always remind me of memories I thought I had forgotten ,then bring me peace and relaxation with a soft, meditative serenity.Although I've made a difficult selection of which song impress me a bit more than the rest,every one of them is but one remove from another——all very nice♪

So were I XD. In my childhood I had little chance to play PC or consoles,I started my RPG journey soon after 2000,meeting an rpg of my own country(Legend of Sword and Fairy)which opened a new world for me.That time I was playing The Legend of Heroes 3-5 from another famous JRPG developer Falcom,After finishing 6(yes that's Trails in the sky FC),I had to look for something else to play before SC came out.That's when FFX appeared in my vision.I hadn't got a PS2 then.So I just watched video with translated subtitles.But even though, I was such impressed and influenced by this game.Yuna is still my favourite female character till now on.Later I played the remastered version of previous 3-9 on simulators,PSP,and even iOS,not in order though.Hard to say which I like best,but 10's really special for me as my first love with FF series=P
Thanks a lot for recommendation,I've heard about Riviera since it also has a remastered version on PSP and fortunately translated in my mother language,I'll try it if I have some spare time in 2019(＾－＾) Kongregate seems to be amazing,I find Hexologic on homepage which I just buyed on steam last month; ).Also see nice rogues there.I'm going to check them out carefully after finishing ongoing works.By the way I want to mention another hidden gem:a very well-designed RPG maker game named Ruina(廃都の物语)which provides a wonderful story,plentiful factors and dozens of hidden events and several endings with simple controls.Generally,4 playthrough is needed to complete the game,but I never felt boring,for each playthrough is different.
