Doom 3 BFG edition sucks

BFG is missing Final Doom and Master Levels For Doom.

BFG Edition is incompatible with all current Doom 3 mods. I'd go with Classics + Doom 3 pack. BFG is also missing Final Doom IIRC.

Get the original Doom 3. You can mod it to look better than the BFG edition. The bfg edition has the flashlight always usable. The original had the flashlight as a seperate item. You were using either a weapon or your flashlight. It created more tension.

Doom 3 BFG = DOOM 3 + Resurrection of Evil (expansion pack) + Lost Missions (BFG exclusive) + Doom I + Doom II.
Keep in mind that Doom 3 BFG does NOT contain Master Levels for Doom II nor Final Doom (Evilution + The Plutonia Experiment).
Doom 3 BFG runs on IDtech 5 (RAGE's engine) and as such doesn't support modding now. Old Doom 3's mod will NOT work - different engine.

Skip BFG, the game is glitchy as ****, and I never got my copy running after following every bit of advice I can find. I just get a white screen, even with fully updated drivers.

What's with all the mod talk? Personally I have no interest at all in any mods. I own both the BFG Edition and the regular edition, I haven't played the BFG Edition yet though. I intend to play them both when I get to it.

Don't get BFG, get Classics+ Doom 3 Pack. That's what I did.
