Region Restricition: Germany

If you buy the censored version, it will stay censored. If you buy an uncensored version, it'll stay uncensored.

However, there is no need for a region restriction for German users, as they are allowed to own every game they want. It's Valve, Capcom, Bethesda etc. who massively misinterpret the German youth protection laws and implement completely unnecessary region locks for German Steam users.

ich würde dir raten der gruppe German Giveaways beizutreten. dort gibt es nur deutschsprachige und mehrheitlich deutsche mitglieder aus genau diesem grund. denn wenn du es als gruppen-GA machst, kann ja nur ein deutscher oder österreicher usw. gewinnen. und österreicher bzw. schweizer werden kaum mitmachen, da sie die uncut version haben.

Whilst it might suck for a user to recieve a censored game its not your problem. As long ss you deliver the games in question youve fulfilled your obligations. Its typically a simple fix to remove the censorship anyway

I believe there should be a country restriction where you could choose any country, not only Germany. Have seen keys bought outside steam that could only be activated in Brazil.

I've asked the same thing before. Was told to just mention it being cut in the GA description.

But still, there are games that, when bought in Germany, only have the German language, like the Fallout 3 dlcs. So, maybe, a region restriction is indeed needed. :/
