As Ryanimator said, hide the stuff. SG has a lovely little button you can push to hide stuff you do not want to see. They've had it for a long time now. Learn to use it. And just wait until something is being given away free somewhere and hasn't been added to the restricted giveaways list yet. Or when there is a price glitch in one the steam stores that floods the market with TONS of said game....

In the main giveaway list you see "Name (123P) <steam> <eye>", and clicking the eye icon will hide giveaways of the same kind.
Another mechanism you may want to learn about: you are supposed to activate your wins on your own Steam profile. Unfriendly people may visit a companion site and think ugly things about you.
