I think OP wanted to inform that it's now F2P on Steam - which until now was only possible with a tradeable Steam Airmech Beta Access or a Steam key for that game (e.g. from an Indie Royale bundle).

You are right that Airmech beta has always been F2P using the Airmech Client or Google Chrome ;)
