The post arrived today and with it came a shiny new boxed copy of Ride To Hell: Retribution, yay! Admit it, you're jelly, aren't you? You know you'd love to have such awesomeness in your posession. It even came with a Steam key that I could activate here in the UK., a nice result all round.

Partly because I'm a sucker for punishment, partly because it was semi-difficult to get hold of/a little bit rare, and partly for the lulz I've been looking for this game lately. Last week I ordered a key from Amazon US only to find it was region-locked to North America and I couldn't activate it. If you want the key, can activate it where you are and are the first to find it then go ahead and look. It is hidden somewhere, shouldn't be too hard to find it.

Please, if you do get the key then post that you have it (with proof would be nice) so that others can stop searching. Btw, I do have a way of knowing if you've found it or not so no claiming to have found it without doing so! :p

Ride
To Hell
Retribution

Solution - Congrats to Zomby2d for using the key and well done to RedFrix for also solving

You had to find an it's too hard page that would basically give you the key by asking if you wanted it. The url from itstoohard was split into 3 parts.

The first part (3 letters) could be found by finding another itstoohard hidden link in this post. From there you answered some easy questions. Either the questions or answers had the words Ride, Hell, or Retribution in them or similar. Answering correctly gave you 3 letters.

The second part (2 letters) is on my Steam profile page.

The final part (3 letters)was hidden in text in a giveaway description. The images I attached to to this post have 5-digit letter/number combos on them if you hover the mouse cursor over them. These take you to old giveaways of mine. The first picture was a red-herring - if you tried the giveaway url for that it would tell you your'e doing the right thing but with the wrong image. The 5 digiit url from the second pic takes to you to the right giveaway (World of Zoo). Hidden in the description of the World of Zoo giveaway is the final part.

You put the 3 parts together to get the url to the other itstoohard page that gives you the key.

I gave away 3 copies of it this week. I had no idea that people were really interested. I had 3 free copies from a Dolby Axon Promotion years ago.

Aye. They saw me mention my interest in it and they had a few lying around for years, so why not? Everybody wins!

It's becoming slightly collectable in gift form at least. It can go for around 20 Tf2 keys and looking over at the the trade section I saw someone turn down 13 CS:Go + 7 Tf2 keys for the base game + the DLC.

The keys are easy enough for North Americans to find on the afforementioned Amazon, but elsewhere I thought it was going to be a little difficult until I found a UK-based store selling the boxed copies for only £2 ($3 a pop).

That's awesome, I wish I was into collectibles myself. I love having box art and possibly (manuals?) if that even a thing anymore. I buy everything digital these days.

Like you, I've always kind of liked the idea of collecting things, although I've never found anything I wanted to collect. Plus, that seems like a terrible use of money. I do kind of miss having the cases and manuals for my games, though.

Got it , but I'm not from North America, just wanted for the fun.
Can give you proof of how I've done it but I guarantee you that it's still there (Unredeemed I mean) :V

(Took me a while though, kudos I think)

I'm pretty sure someone else will have activated it by the time I get home. I might still look for it just for the treasure hunt.

It''s removed, yes. It's reckoned to be awful by many. Some think it's funny or "so bad it's good".
