FAQ shows how people enter to get gifts...

The FAQ doesn't show what people get for giving the gifts?

Do people who start up gift giving submissions get something in return for the amount of people entering? Or is it just purely for the fun of giving?

You get nothing.
But seriously, though, the FAQ clearly includes that information. You get CV, which let's you enter CV requirement giveaways. There's also a bundle CV thing, but that bullshit is too complicated to explain here.
My recommendation is to give for the greatness of giving. Forget about CV and that crap. :)
