Live action series on disney channel back then were not the main thing! There was Lizzie McGuire, That's So Raven, etc. And the rest were cartoons.

I played the games including the gamecube game Megaman Network Transmission which took place between 1 and 2 and when I watched the series after a while it seemed a bit off time line wise but I guess the writers of the series weren't on the same page as the writers for the games.

Yeah, the tv series are loosely based on the games. Example: N-1 Grand Prix that was like in MMBN 3, in the series, the tournament is in the first episodes.
