Happy Easter and Happy Passover.

I saw a post from one of my friends on steam about this. Its a shame but that's how it is. Usually, when a game is about to be closed down, there is usually a discount but the developers are sticking to the price as is.
Looks like a banner saga style game so depends on how much you like the genre I suppose.

Shame, I hope it gets at least a 50 % discount before the game is removed from the store, 19,99 $ is more than what I am willing to pay for an unpolished/unfinished game. So, how come I never heard of this game before ? A huge Banner Saga fan here, and yet this title never came to my attention. Indie developers have been complaining a lot about the lack of visibility on Steam, decent games and quality tittles with rough edges such as this one get utterly buried under mountains of trash asset flips, while the AAAs get all the spotlight.
Thanks for the heads up, really appreciated. I barely snatched Sword Coast Legends before it was taken out, last time around Christmas.
By the way, for those who like these kind of games, Ash of Gods : Redemption has just been released recently, they barely reached their Kickstarter funding goal and could use more exposure, so feel free to check it out.

I can't rule out the possibility that it's an April fools joke.
As for the group already mentioned above, follow this thread as well: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/RemGC/discussions/2/496879865902369146/

Unless Valve charges them a continual fee for having their game on Steam, why wouldn't they just keep the game up indefinitely? Get a few more sales in the future at least.

Hi,
The developer's of a game I've been following on Steam, The Great Whale Road have recently annouced that the game will stop being sold in the Steam store soon. It's a pity but judging from the reviews additional work is needed before it becomes a good/great game (which was why I was following it). Plus the recent discussion on the Adventure Time games being removed from sale got me thinking. I can't follow all the games on my wishlist (too many/my activity feed would be swamped) but is there a Steam Group or somewhere on Steam that notifies people when any game is about to be removed? All answers appreciated :)
Thanks
