Actually..NO. Arkham Aylum is better. Because Arkham City is a sandbox game and managed to be a really underwhelming one. If you're gonna turn your game open world, you better make damn sure you have something consistent to offer in the said open world. it really can't hold a candle to games like GTA IV, Saints Row 3 and 4 or Far Cry 3. Arkham City is a shorter game than Arkham Asylum, elongated artificially by an open-world system that no one asked for or needed in such a game. Akrham Asylum, by being linear, feels a lot like playing through an episode of Batman The Animated Series and that's AWESOME.

Where exactly did I said anything bad about Batman ? Read the post carefully before posting something harsh next time.

No, only its price. He only meant that it can be obtained for cheap, not that the game wasn't good.

well if it is only worth 3 bucks then why do you not buy a few copies and gift them on here?
http://store.steampowered.com/app/200260/
hmm at this point it seems it is worth 20 bucks
why do people down play the value of a game because it might be part of a bundle when if said person wanted it now it would cost them 19.99
and you assume those where part of a bundle which might have been or might not have been
either way it does not matter what it was worth at the time the games where acquired but the value at the time they where sold/giving/traded
other wise buying low and selling high would be pointless...that would be like telling someone you car is not worth 20,000 because you won it is worth nothing because they paid nothing for it

Don't want to ruin it for you, but all of these are probably spare HIB games your friend had. Still a good friend to gift them to you, but it's not something extraordinary. Also, it's not a bad idea to learn to be happy about real meaningful stuff. It doesn't seem right to open a whole topic about it, just thank your friend and be a good one too.

TBH, I was planning on getting him some games as a "thank you" and I already said thanks countless times to him. Still though, what are the odds of having a friend nice enough to give you 6 games, spares or not? Some would just sell the games they got and buy new ones. Others, like my friend in this case, gave them to me.

since when did you become the one to decide how people should feel and what they should feel about and how they should feel about it?
so what if they are HIB and how is not being happy and excited about it not apply to your little rules?? he does save something that is meaningful as it would save him actually cash from buying the game wait i guess cash is not meaningful
i guess you make the rules and decide what is worthy of posting and what is not, sorry master we will make sure to approve all thread through you before me post them
to OP i am glad someone was nice enough to share some stuff with you and it is nice to know people still do things just because they can and spread your joy by giving back you could also do what i do and sometimes when i get a few keys and some of the games i know i really will not play i give them to someone i know that will enjoy the game
anyhow spread the karma and enjoy your games

I'm very happy for you!
Spare bundle keys make nice gifts. I've been given a few, and I couldn't care less what someone paid for them. I enjoy the games all the same. I also like gifting out mine, especially when the person I give 'em to has fun with their new gift.

+1 Exactly! Like it matters how much the game was priced at some point in history, or even how much it costs now... What's important is the act of making another person happy. I'd be even happier if I got a game that was bought in a bundle before I got on Steam and found out about bundles, because I'd know that the person giving it to me didn't spend too much. That would make accepting the gift easier :)

I don't get why are u guys so mean about this, he genuinely seems to be happy about it and has shown more gratitude for it than most of the people in here after getting something for free. So what those games were on the cheap cause they were from bundles, why does that matter if he is happy for the gesture itself, since when the price on a gift should matter more than the gesture itself ?
Some of u guys should stop being such dumbasses.

Hey, that's awesome! Doesn't matter if they're bundled or not. :) Me and a few friends I chat with nearly daily toss keys around to each other all the time. Gifts and surprises are always a great thing in my opinion. I've been very lucky to meet some truly wonderful people on Steam who went out of their way and bought me presents when they found out I was going through a really rough time. Of course the games were wonderful and all, but it was the actual act of kindness that blew me away. These people had only spoken to me via chat (granted, we'd been talking a long, long time and I could prove I wasn't shit talking for sympathy if they had asked) and still cared enough to try to make me feel a little better. Don't think the gifter knows it, but one time when he sent me something knowing I was having a seriously bad time, I was nearly in tears at the how nice people can be.

I've had this one friend who gifted me a few games and I still need to pay him back, whenever I can.

So, I was working on a website for my raffle group when all of a sudden a friend sends me a message with a link. Upon closer examination, I realized he was giving me Batman: Arkham City GOTY. I was speechless and then he sent me 5 more links of games. I got Worms: Crazy Golf, Dungeons of Dredmor Complete, Civilization 3 and Civilization 4 Complete, and Paranautical Activity. No matter how hard I try, it's going to be very difficult to repay what this dude just did for me. Thanks a lot, friend. This is just... wow. I'm speechless.
