Bump. Thank you!. 2h20m is a usual travel time in your country? i have seen that is usual in some places (like in the united states, from some people i know that live there).
As for the first day, i will tell you a story. 16 years old me. It was my first day working in a microbiology lab in a huge and very important food manufacturing plant as intern. So i got there, meet my boss and after some time talking she says "ok, so today we have no lab assistant so your first task will be to wash this mountain of Petri Dishes (glass)". Ok, im on it. After some time, i drop one of the Petri dishes. At that time my boss and the boss of the boss of my boss (hapends to be in this plant at the time) enters the lab and start laughing. All they say is that im the perfect for my boss and that she already had influenced me. One of the workers later told me that my boss, in her first day had knockd down a self full of petri dishes and broke houndreds of them. My second day job was start a proyect to change the galss Petri Dishes for disposable plastic ones. All in all it was an interesting internship.

Where i live and where i have internship are at almost different sides of the city that is the reason for that time ^^ I use 4 vehicles just to get there :) And for the first week luckily i havent broken anything of course the reason is probably we were there to observe only :) Last 3 days in lab and then we will be in the field so all i need to do is to hold on for 3 more days it seems ^^

Hey there. As some of you may know from my thread related to my midterms & their celebration i am a civil engineering student and i got only a year before graduation. This semester was the toughest one so far and fortunately i passed all the classes. Before going into relaxation mood i have internship for 30 days which means 1.5 months in total since only weekdays count. This period will be tough both physically and mentally. For that reason I even left some groups where i had to be kinda active.
Anyway, somehow i have passion for transportation engineering specifically for highways. Fortunately, i was lucky enough to arrange my internship in one of the divisions of General Directorate of Highways which will allow me to see different types of experiments and roads. And i started my internship on monday..
At the beginning i was kinda anxious since it was the first day. But soon later i saw that was surely unnecessary. People over there responsible for the experiments were helpful and kind and me focusing on the experiments for the first week makes people being helpful more important. And also there were other interns i could get along with. Only setback was the transport from home to there and opposite. Service arrives too early mornings and we are done before shift is over. So using service is not a good option. And using different vehicles time it takes for me to get there is about 2 hours and 20 minutes. That is a funny thing actually considering this time is what it takes for me to get a place which is in the city i live in now and the time it takes for me to get another city where my university is about 2 hours 40 minutes with high speed train. Anyway anyway so much unnecessary information :O ^^ Here is a small lego to appreciate this news ^^ I hope you find it to your liking. Thank you and have a wonderful day!
