Recommend me a comedy

Me too, at some point I just asked my friend to have mercy on me and turn it off.

So I'm not alone!

If only they wouldn't fuck up two last seasons... For two seasons they have no friggin clue what to do with main character (Ted) and... well, last episode shows it so much.

[SPOILER] The biggest failure was allowing his character to be a designer of skyscraper, from that moment everything started collapsing in the show. It has no real purpose in the show.

Plus the last season is almost not funny at all for me (when they try to be funny, not when there are dramas which is understandable). And I thought Zoey is a pain.

This movie was sooo unfunny for me. Total waste of my time.

so every body knows about this show except me ! lol .. it's kind of obvious because the show is so good. the problem is they never air it in my country & never heard anyone mention it on TV, maybe because it's British. & searching for good shows in the internet is useless. but the op did it right by asking the community instead of using google.

Meh opinions opinions. Monty Python is some of the best comedy ever written in my opinion, but then again, you need the right sense of humour for it or else it'll appear really bad.

However, I disliked American Pie when I watched it... Thought that was the worst one on the list.

I didn't ask that other people enjoyed. I didn't say it wasn't racist. I didn't ask for a Greek person's opinion on it. I didn't say that it was superbly funny, just that I could recommend it.

And you didn't find it funny because you are Greek. And as you say, it is slightly stereotypical so you took offense rather than see the funny side of it.

Is this in-appropriate? Racist? Yes. But if you read the comments, you'll find the Belgian's actually find it amusing. I don't think I've seen Germans (despite stereo-typically having no sense of humuor) take offense at the Nazi scenes from Monty Python. And so, I suggest you shouldn't have watched it in the first place. And I also suggest that you should watch films with an open mind, don't expect them to be truly factual but take them to be a comedy, which it is supposed to be.
