Looking for a 2D Artist

Hello.

I am searching since quite some time for a 2D Artist, who is capable of delivering 2D Art for a 2D Shmup.

I can do some art myself, like this red planet, but things that require a lot of detail are not really my strength. My strength lies more within programming.

I plan on making a game. I have already a full prototype going with the evaluation copy of Torque2D, but ofc I can't share it due to the licensing of the Demo. But, I can show you a screenshot of my work so far. It is not as impressive as I would wish, since it is a prototype only, but it shows at least that I am capable of doing it.

Oh and I am open for every type of artstyle. If you are famous for your pixelart, then don't be initmitated by my screenshot. It just means more work for you since you have to recreate everything :D.

Well i can say that planet has some good effects added to it Good job. Good luck on finding another artist, Sorry not much help. Look around deviantart that should help

Your art is way better than mine...

I have to have a game done in about a week and I have only my terrible art skills to fall back on. But I'm hoping since it's kind of a far above RTS style view the lack of detail you would expect from such a view will help the bad art seem passable.

Head on over to the Gamasutra job boards and post an application there, you'll get a ridiculous amount of people applying for the job (At least I did anyway)

When I try to visit that site, my firefox warns me. If I enter the site via google, I get a warning page from google.

I am bit wary visiting it now..
