I've made a lot of good horror movie purchases on eBay, it's hard to narrow it down to my favorite. A good one was when I found someone selling two out of print Dario Argento sets for $10.

Only thing I have bought on eBay were two PS1 Dual Shocks, considering one of them did not work I would not call it the best thing, but well...

Line 6 Variax 700 guitar in 2005 -- first thing I ever bid on after owning an ebay account for years, and I won it completely unexpectedly (bid the minimum) -- and then I got a discount on top of that since part of software in the guitar was miscalibrated. Figured it out myself and it was a very simple fix, but the seller never got back to me about paying the difference of the discount price he'd offered.

I think the best things I ever purchased on Ebay were a bunch of genuine shooting scripts and props from "Prison Break" (best TV show ever!). I would have gotten even more but I was a student at that time so I really couldn't afford any more items but I'm happy with what I got. Might sound kinda odd but I'm really into this stuff.
