One of the games "planned" to get this Holiday, but still deciding..

I've played Minecraft since 2010 ( classic in MC(dot)net ) .. [ Only Freebuild serves this time and few minigame, like zombie or tsunami ]
and maybe moved to the alpha beta thingy ( the survival etc.. ) by around 2012/13..
and so on.. discovered a good server, stayed there.. ( decent ) until it closed.. forgot to play - and then i discovered steam. ( that time i only go free servers )

And so.. right by this time there are still some good youtubers out there who still play minecraft and so on.. and made me think to get back on the game- but this time to be a premium one, and so on..
Let's face it, " Minecraft is a really successful and a very good game.. " people just hated it because they judged the game by those cringey kids on Minecraft. And I don't care about that. There are still adults or teens who play Minecraft on good servers, say so Keralis.. I wanna go try his server ( a build server. but only premium ones can enter and so, I am planning to buy it.

Overall, this is all my opinion on the game, hate it if you hate it.., If there are still active players here, let me know if it is still worth it..

ps: I have played this game for 5 or almost 6 years.. ( but stopped for like 1 - 2 years ) and i am not one of those cringey kids.

I think it is... That said, didn't play it in years, but my logic is - if you like the game and enjoying playing it, it's still good.

it's fine, i think i last touched the game was like around 2014.. so I don't know what changed and that 2 year gap.. it's a huge change and I still really want the old days.

Yeah , if you plan on using mods that is ...

I ended up getting a copy for my nephew last month , and to be fair even i played a little bit , since there a re SO many fucking mods and modpacks to choose from .

On CURSE ( which is a 3rd party launcher ) there are dozens of modpacks with a questbook that can take from 20 to over 100 hours to complete ... so id say it is worth the money :)

they can be quite fun but hell'a they are sometimes painful to install. ( especially if it is a bunch of mods ) / besides i enjoy multiplayer more than singleplayer because in sp i tend to get bored easily and tend to change gm with commands, while multiplayer gives you interaction and no way to cheat the game.

Using curse saves you all the trouble of installing multiple mods tho .
Its just a modpack which auto installs everything needed , so there is no hassle to try and make stuff working together .

I do agree tho , that playing singleplayer gets boring quick ( how does my newphew play that thing for 7 hours straight and its making drama when i tell her to stop boggles my mind ) , but you can find servers for some of the basic modpacks with ppl who are full into RP , making towns and stuff ...

I do quite enjoy doing that to be fair , got my wizard tower of doom in one of the servers , and its 1 of the wonders of the server , for how ridiculous it is D: ( that was b4 everything got wiped tho ) >.>

So yeah TLDR , if you end up buying minecraft , try using CURSE to play it , its just a 3rd party launcher which simplifies a lot of stuff if you intend to use any mods :)

Absolutely. I'm 29 & I still frequently play vanilla Minecraft. I've been playing since around the same time as you, 2010.

still thinking, and making me doubt.. are servers still the same like before or they get less / low player count | unlike before, many servers to choose from and many player count.

There are more servers than ever to choose from. Player count is also high among the servers & also low. It really depends if you choose to play on a popular server or not. I play on a survival server that has upwards of 60 to 100 players on at any one time. For me, that's more than enough players.

i think it's worth the money but, I personally prefer 7-days to die because it's graphics dont give me a headache after a couple hours.

I'm not saying that minecraft is bad, it's a good game but personally I prefer my landscapes not so blocky :)
