That's a good point. Unfortunately the licence claimed form the steam store promo cannot be removed and the steam key from fanatical cannot be activated over it. :-/

If it works like Humble Bundle, so once revealed probably stays forever unless Dev revokes it in future.

If you already own the game directly from that Steam promotion you can remove the license and then redeem this key so you get card drops and +1. Just tried this myself and it works.

I've got it when it was free on Steam and played through it since then and I gotta say it's a very fun game. Pretty neat that people who might've missed it on Steam may get another chance here.

Hmm... to be honest idk, I don't remember if Fanatical key expiration means if you don't reveal it'll be gone like Humble Bundle,
or it'll be expired even if you reveal it like GOG.
But guessing it works like Humble Bundle so once you reveal the key is fine and kept until Dev revoke it somehow someday.
But to be sure, better use it before that date 😅
