I am aware of the existence of the blacklist feature, but I would like something which is more comprehensive than that. Something that I can use to stop any specific users from commenting on any of my threads, from replying to me, from me even knowing they exist. I have one user constantly haunting over me lately, who will post in my trade thread despite their repeated blocks on Steam, and me having reported this user for various offenses before. I don't want to have to deal with it, would love a button to just make them not a hassle for me.

I think the OP is looking for a solution where they can still enjoy SG.com but don't have to deal with trolls, losers, and griefers.

OP should stop being so thin skinned and learn to ignore the trolls and stop giving them attention.

An ignore option might always be possible, but someone preventing them from specifically posting on your threads, i don't think i have seen 1 forum who done that and unlikely it will happening here.

Yeah that would be way too easy to exploit

Unfortunately though, It's the only way I can think of limiting some of the effects of what I mean. For example, in a trade thread. Perhaps limiting that to trades only, not discussions?

Lol are you really that sensitive to not being able to ignore a persons comments? What do you do in real life when someone says something you don't like? Beat them up until they agree with you or shut up? Get real.

In cases like petty trolling, I could understand what you are saying, but I've had some cases of outright libel against me on this site.

In real life, if something was serious enough? I'd report it. It's what I've done here, but that takes time. It's significantly easier to ignore someone in real life if you can just avoid them, than it is on a site where you have a red notification for every message and reply you get.

And that comment still goes on to affect my trade thread down the line. I may ignore it, other people won't.
