Fanatical Killer bundle is still available, thus it would be cheaper to get this game via that bundle.

Bought it on fanatical and played it...

I was really disappointed because it's much worse than the previous ones.

How so? I really enjoyed "Testament of Sherlock Holmes", how is this different?

There's more action and mini-games.

Well, here are some pros and cons about it:
(+) More open world (you can go outside of Sherlock's house and "explore" the streets)

(-) Deductions with no logic (this is not a real spoiler but just in case) There is a boy with some bruise on his wrist and you have to choose if it is birth defect or just some injury - Yeah there is no information that helps you with that so it's literally 50/50
(-) I also felt like (at least for me) some conclusion were quite weird... There is a man who was killed by a spear and one of the suspects has hidden working model of a statue which can throw spears... why the hell would someone have that?! (And he isn't the one who killed him)
(-) The last case and the ending... sucks

The open world sounds awesome. I love just walking through historical settings tho. Im probably one of the few who really enjoyed AC: Unity

I just finished "The Testament of Sherlock Holmes" (which I won on sg :) ) and loved it some much that i got "vs Jack the Ripper", Crimes&Punishments & the devils daughter. I should probably play them in order? There are some callbacks in testament to Ripper as far as I can tell.

Play them in order, otherwise some major stuff won't make sense.
Hope you will enjoy them :D

Thank you for your review and response. Gives me some pause and I don't think I'll buy it. Thanks!

Same thing. Very boring "world' and some events without logic
I've bought it with -85% off and I did regret

With BigBen planning this large sale on Steam you can bet Fanatical probably spent a good time trying to convince them to put Sherlock Holmes back in the Fantical Killer Bundle.

Put back? It's still in there.

The two games they couldn't get back were from SNK (King of Fighters XIV and SNK 40th Anniversary Collection).

I'm aware it's there currently. I don't think you understood what I was saying there. When the bundle went down the first time from being sold out Fanatical had to reach out to all of the devs to get more keys. SNK ended up not putting their 2 games back in but I believe Bigben probably didn't want to be added back to the bundle due to the big sales on Steam right now, Fanticial probably had to spend a decent amount of time convincing them to rejoin it.

90% sounds like a good discount, but the original price (which is almost in the league of AAA current release) is ridiculous, considering the game's age and the reviews.
