Will you be shaken off grounds by this line-up?
I'm a buy it for charity, there are 2 or three games i'm interested in, all the other repeats will come here later.

The Game/Link for Lighhouse Keeper is wrong. Correct is https://store.steampowered.com/app/2023050/Lighthouse_Keeper/

only interested in gotham knights, but at that price...i dunno if its worth
Comment has been collapsed.
Why do people feel the need to say "have the games, and not at that price" for what is essentially a charity donation?
Fine if you don't want to donate/buy bundle, but maybe the negative comments are not needed under the circumstances.
You're not the only one who felt compelled to mention the price in this thread.

Exatly, if this bundle was for IGN and they took money i can understand it. But when they do this and the only option is 100% to the cause... Where is the problem?
Comment has been collapsed.
I was thinking same. This bundle is just a means for helping those suffer from the disaster, not the purpose.
Comment has been collapsed.
It is posted in a gaming site though ,not in a charity one so its normal that ppl comment about games :)

so, your solution is come to a game themed site, in a bundle divulgation thread of games in a bundle, just to show some virtue signalling about "people concerned for the repeat and rebundled games"?
Comment has been collapsed.
You can be hypocritical anywhere you want, even here. I don't see any prohibition about that. However, if you can't even be pertinent, you'll just end up looking like a fool. If you don't mind to look like one, I just came to applause the show.

Looks like we are two... Just like you in the other threads. :D

You know something vinirockman, 24 years ago I witnessed an earthquake in my country, people I loved died, I saw a neighborhood completely destroyed, almost all the inhabitants of this neighborhood died, my aunts and cousin were left homeless, I was helping them with what I could removing rubble, sleeping on a platform, seeing the generosity of the people but also the cruelty, desperate people can do bad things, so don't come talking to me about virtue.
And, yes my solution is to tell people concernede for a fucking repeat game that this was a tragedy like many others that happen in this world while many only look to one side or as Enissay mentioned well: "live in their own bubble"
Comment has been collapsed.
Just to make it clear, do you usually virtue signalling everything or just what you experienced? I mean, there's a lot going on in the world recently. Don't you care about the other things happening or just this one? I could be wrong, but I think didn't see you virtue signalling other threads.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yes vinirockman, many things in the world worry me, war, famine, natural catastrophes like these, also other smaller and less visible ones. And contrary to what you think, I don't need to point this out all the time, in this case I decided to do it because I thought it necessary to remember what the bundle is for, I can also tell you that I didn't expect to find someone like you, and if you feel offended by my first post I suppose that there must have been some truth in my words and they must have touched you in some way; at least that already makes it worth it. And don't expect other words for you from me
Comment has been collapsed.
Let me point out that the title of the thread is "Türkiye-Syria Earthquake Relief Bundle". I honestly think your virtue signalling won't point out anything else but the virtue signalling. I would like to point out that you are the only one who is offended, which perfectly matches with the hypocritical guidance you are giving here since the begging. Like I said here, I just came to applause the show.

"Virtue signalling". You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Comment has been collapsed.
I'm just glad you arrived just like aharunu. What else can we do with your supreme power of denial of both of you?
Comment has been collapsed.
Still ,its a gaming site. You could write any type of comments like this in another serious site :) just a thought lol
Comment has been collapsed.
They could just not comment. It's that simple.
I could understand if this was one of Humble's regular bundles, but it's 100% for charity and to help people in a dire situation. Basically, it's a charity donation with a reward. No one is profiting. There's no "virtue signalling" involved in simply telling someone who isn't going to buy to "shut up then."
Comment has been collapsed.
If there's only a way to donate without the bundle without virtue signalling...
Even though, if there's only a way to buy the bundle without virtue signalling...
Even further, if there's only a way you show you care about something without virtue signalling...
I'm sure there's a way, but I think I forgot, since no one came to remind me.
Comment has been collapsed.
lulz. you didn't even create the thread.
you could directly just ask for some spotlight on you instead.
Comment has been collapsed.
People are merely commenting on the bundle. Not on the cause.
I already donated to several organizations. I won't be buying the bundle because I'd rather give to charities directly.
As a charity bundle, it's not bad but it could be better if the goal is to get people to donate to charity while getting something in return.
Comment has been collapsed.
sigh Why these charity bundles are always so expensive? Honestly, they need to be divided into several tiers. 28 Euros upfront is a bit too much. And I don't see any point in using these bundles in particular for charity, as you can use any bundle for that (except the Choice)
Comment has been collapsed.
No, they can't.
The developers donate their games to be used in a 100% charity bundle.
In the regular non-choice bundles, charity gets a small percentage, and developers/publishers also get a percentage. You can't do a 100% charity bundle without those game keys being donated fully for that cause.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, and then you aren't supporting the people who made the games. I never do that.
Like I said, these ones are made with the intention of all sides to give 100% to charity.
I work in the creative industries and too often people think they should get my work for fee. I need to put food on the table. Like, if I do some work for a company, (they're profiting from it) I expect to get paid. They can't say, "well we decided to donate what you created, so now you don't get paid." If I volunteer and offer my time completely for free, that's time I can afford to give where I won't starve lol and I'm not expecting anything in return.
That's the difference between the two types of bundles.
Comment has been collapsed.
I need to put food on the table.
Yeah, but what about the tons and tons of exposure you get by being credited in babys first Steam shovelware game or their 300 follower instagram channel?
Sorry 😅 I suppose this is a touchy subject.
But seriously... when we finally start decimating human population in favour of our long term survival those people should be the second to volunteer.
First obviously being wannabe "influencers" who expect to receive goods or services for free.
Comment has been collapsed.
Oh geez lmao The "exposure" thing grinds my gears. And even after all these years, there are still people who suggest it.
The guy who asked me quite casually if I wouldn't mind taking a look at their startup. They were looking for a brand identity, and the studios were too expensive. He threw a bunch of buzz words at me. Now, I totally would have done that work for them for a reasonable cost, cutting out the middle man, but they'd have to get any printing or signage done themselves, it wouldn't be included. I told him this. But he expected me to do all the actual design and research work (wanted me to be marketing consultant as well) for free because "exposure." I graduated from my undergrad in 2008. LMAO. This was 2017. I had worked for well known companies and had stuff in my portfolio to that effect. People are very cheeky. lol.
I just said that I was too busy with work for the studio I worked for at the time. Told them to contact them for a price. Dunno if they did or not.

Yeah, that's why it always pains me a little bit every time I see aspiring game devs looking for people to translate their games for free.
Sure, almost any native speaker who's also proficient at English can do a passable job for a small project but just because you're nice and slightly bored doesn't mean you have to take the bread from professional translators tables.
It's just like the Joker says in Dark Knight.
If you're good at something never do it for free.
Edit: Typos.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yep, I can agree with that. It's okay to do something for someone based on what they can afford (like doing something cheaper for a startup if you want to be nice). But not free.
Have taken a couple free small projects for non-profits. But those are people doing really good work in the community and they wanted nice posters for fundraising events. The printers were nice enough to print them for free. =)

I read a lot of disappointed reviews but it was hard to make the difference between people who genuinely hated the game and those who were just disappointed when comparing it to the Arkham series.
But I guess the end result is bad reviews anyway. Still, it's surprising to see it in a bundle so soon.

Just bought. I have all the big games here, except Gotham Knights, but it's for a worthy cause.
I did have Harmony's Odyssey on my wishlist though, so that's a nice little bonus.
Comment has been collapsed.
Gotham Knights, Cats and the Other Lives, Lighthouse Keeper, Hyper Gunsport, Flynn: Son of Crimson, Pilgrims, Into the Pit, and a few others...
There are a lot of repeats and tbh the new games' average quality is relatively low, but after finding so many interesting titles it was an easy buy, even after bigger gaming expenses for this month :)

Just bought the bundle and added as many keys as I could before Steam blocked me (didn't know they would do that even when all the keys were valid). When I redeemed the key for Hack 'n' Slash, a Steam gift for Spacebase DF-9 was added to my inventory.

The longer you wait, the higher chance some of the games run out of keys.
It happens all the time with these kind of bundles.
