Darksiders 2 is really awesome with a controller, and it feels it's the way it should be played.I found that out to my frustration unfortunately

Hold down the Xbox Guide button and then once it starts blinking, press the sync button to the left (or right) of the left bumper.

It's a dumb question, but did you put batteries? Are they charged?

Sports, 2D and 3rd person POV Adventure games.
at least thats what i do while chilling on a bigger screen.

Metro 2033, Borderlands, Bioshock, Dead Space, GTA (don't know about the older ones though with x360 controller) are games that come to mind.

Not too sure about all of them, but those make sense to me, as they are console games as well, and don't really recquire the fastness of mouse control. And others won't have an edge over you with playing online, as they are SP games.

And a lot of indies also work quite well to be honest.

Edit: I would exect Tomb Raider to be nicely playable with controller as well.

Blur is a splitscreen (4 player) racing game but I don't think its on the market anymore. I think Split/Second also has splitscreen.
