I used to win a giveaway every 2 months, but now I'm on a 3-month losing streak. I wonder where exactly my life took the wrong turn...

Happened to me too, the two things I've won were a day apart. Both were $1 DLCs but I'm still happy with that over nothing at all.

Giveaway more, receive more because of your slightly increased chance due to your CV.
Stalk the forum more, get into private giveaways, find more giveaway groups, and solve puzzles. And if you're lucky (or fast) enough, you can stumble upon a key drop thread.

If you check my profile, I win private giveaways, mostly. These aren't from any group that force me to gift to receive either.
It's just a matter checking out the forum daily, or in my case... Hourly.

But I've won 5! I have a lot of low number entries, and higher ($31+) CV though, so that may explain my 150% more success.
