The thing is with that "one" code, as many people can sign up with it as possible. So essentially its a referral code.

On the e-mail it said something about a VIP package if you use it within 2 weeks of the opening of the beta, or something like that

It gives you a little bit of a "booster" for when you get points and kills and whatnot. But its negligible.
