I think it's an great idea. I hope the moves of the different pokemon are based on the Attacks they can in the Anime and Pokemon RPGs and are not just serveral kicks an punches.
Could be cool to have real time fights like in the Anime instead of turn based like in every other Pokemon game, except for games like Pokepark Wii and other crap.

I like Pokemon, it was my childhood and I enjoyed the games. I personally don't think you should change your preferences just because society says you have to when you grow up. It's pretentious and arrogant
