Okay, hear me out...
I really enjoyed Burnout Legends on the DS, but that was because all I owned was Hotel For Dogs and a few other shitty movie-licensed games. I also never had played any other Burnouts at the time and thought it was the coolest racing game. Burnout Paradise made me realize how wrong I was.
I thought I was just bad at the game. I never thought that the controls were just terrible. After watching that video I understand why an Action Replay was almost necessary to win some races.

Whenever I see a DS or GBA or whatever collection for sale on ebay or Craigslist or wherever, and it's the handheld with a bunch of shitty shovelware games, I feel bad for the person and their sad childhood. Instead of those 8 or so crappy games that no one GAF about after 20 minutes, they could have had a few good ones at the same cost.

Different dev studio. Bugbear made the first 2, then went on to better things. Strategy First bought the rights to the IP and made a "car game" using the IP name they bought through Studio 6 who have a handful of negative review shovelware games on Steam besides this one.

Why wouldn't there be? ESO is developed by a completely different team. TESVI is slow because Bethesda Games Studios is adamant on not hiring more people (since it would cost money), so they take 3-6 years to make one game, and now they have to rotate two series.

If there is any word I would not associate BGS with, it is "original". Even TES was just a copy-paste of Ultima Underworld, before it became an amalgam of every known fantasy story ever.

Assassins Creed Chronicles China/Russia/that other one
I don't know, maybe if I hadn't gotten use to the mechanics and way the main games play I would've probably enjoyed Chronicles, I tried China, played it to almost the finish because I wanted the story, but I had to force myself all the way through. Haven't touched Russia and that other one... I really can't remember it's name.

I was inspired to make this thread because of Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate. I played 0.7 hours of it just a little bit ago and every bit of that game was shit. There was not a single good thing about it, which is surprising considering I love every other Batman Arkham game (Origins less than the other 3). This game made me question why companies make games like this in the first place? When they were making this game did they ever realize their game was complete shit? I know this game was originally made for the 3DS, but it doesn't excuse how bad the game is. If you guys have played any games like this (or this one), feel free to share your stories/frustration with them.
