Only 2 more weeks until semester 1 final exams start for Canadian/Ontario high school students.

I already received a conditional offer from one of my top picks for university, so it's kind of hard for me to get motivated. Of course, I'll still try my best.

What are some of your study tips/methods? (Aside from the usual "eat breakfast, get sleep" stuff I've been told hundreds of times already.)

Good luck fellow Ontarian. I'm sure you'll do fine :).

As for tips ... just know your shit XD. Tbh, there is nothing you can learn in the final days/hours that will stick for the exam. Either you know it, or you don't. That is how I view it at least.

If you want a stupid tip, here goes:
Put your notes on the floor, do a headstand and then study everything will go straight to your head and you will never forget it. :-)

My best advice is study instead of hanging out on steamgifts :D

I'll tell you what I do. Achieve a balance between studying and eating and resting. Study as much as you can in the evening, after a good two hour afternoon nap. Make sure you have stuff to chew while you study.
And most importantly, once you are done, or find some time, play a video game that you really enjoy. It will relieve you from stress and tension. It will also give you a positive outlook if you achieve something in it.
Never read novels. They tend to leech your focus onto them, making you forget everything. Or perhaps that's just me? XD

During the examination. keep a cool and calm mind. Go through the question paper first, and make a strategy as to how you want to proceed with answering. Answer the ones you think you can take on easily first.
If you have MCQs, and if you are stuck on something, then try to use simple logical reasoning to find out the answer, if you are short on time. I have done this many times, and it works most of the times. But for that, you need to be on the right track :)
If you are stuck somewhere, then try to deduce your way through by using the information you have been provided.
Knowledge is everything :)

Good luck for the exams!! Do your best! :D

My best study method was to not study. Worked well. The only test I ever failed was the one I did study for... Strange isn't it?

Haha, the name of the game truly fits your post. As for your question, I do not really have any trick, sorry. I just study, and study.

Good luck, and remember - if you are feeling nervous, than just try to imagine that everybody else in the room is naked. If they are naked, and you are wearing clothes than you are in a less stressful situation than everybody else, and since there is no panic in the room, there is no reason for you to panic.

The only way this could backfire is if you start staring at the naked boobs, but try to avoid that - they are just imaginary.

It worked for me during entire high school, college and every time I am in court.

Never study the day before the test because your brain has to review what you studied from the past days.

Some mood music
But in all seriousness, a bit of exercise can help relieve some stress after a study session. I've always been a flashcard person when it comes to studying. Can't think of any other tips right now since it's nearly midnight and also I haven't been in school for 7 year. Best of luck to you and anyone else having exams.

Condense information. Make a summary of all the important things you need to know before the test and in case you need to condense it even more make a summary of the summary. I hate studying whole books so I usually get it down to 4-12 pages depending on the subject.

Also I find that making keywords in a bigger and broader font makes them stick as well but different strokes for different people.

I imagine InuKaT copying Konata...
Konata Studying (Eng-Dub)
Trying Again... (Eng-Sub)

Though, it'd be kinda freaky if you did play the same MMO as your teacher :D
