Borderlands 2 is far from Dead, people just choose to set the play sessions to friends only and play with their friends as they don't want randoms joining and messing everything up for them.

There are two games I liked very much: Company of Heroes Online (closed after beta) and Fifa Online (closed during beta).

Mount and Blade Warband, M&B Fire & Sword, and M&B Napoleonic Wars. These games were so much fun with about 200 other people in a game. Not the same anymore :'(

And what the hell I may as well say it: CALL OF DUTY 1 + United Offensive expansion. I played the heck out of them way back. I would have no problem playing those today if there were nice full servers.

Borderlands 2 definitely is NOT dead! and it's a co-op! Those aren't servers, they are people! lol

As has already been said, Frozen Synapse, Nuclear Dawn and DOD:S are not dead. Don't know about the others. Also, am I in the minority for not knowing what ACB stands for?

Oh, and Skydrift can be added to the list. Fun game, terrible matchmaking, no server browser, no playerbase.

My roommate has an old copy of The Orange Box for 360 that we found in a drawer the other day. For a laugh we decided to see what TF2 was like since it's never been updated since the game's release and looks nothing like TF2 for pc does today.

As soon as we clicked "Quick match", it said it couldn't find any games before you could finish reading the words "Searching for servers". There was literally no one else playing it in the world.

DoD and DoD Source are far from dead.
