The game shouldn't be priced above 5€, that's my opinion

Unless you're just dying to play the beta, I'd wait. They already said they'll be dropping the price when the full version comes out.

I bought it when it was on sale like a week or two ago.

Its a lot of fun.

Theme hospital isnt a good comparison. You build the prison from scratch.

Plus its still alpha so dont expect a perfect experience just yet.

Im having fun with it, its a learning experience though.

Yeah, pretty much the same thing but in Prison.If you really want to see the difference though. You should check out some game-play videos.

It is good game , but a little buggy because its steel alpha , and I cant afford it yet because except lots of chefs and cooking materials my prisoners always starve don't know if it is a bug or what but steel love the game <3

I bought it, wont work, and the general consensus from the people who made it is "Buy a new PC."

Umm, the game is awesome. Just bought it last week, really is a lot of fun. Fairly challenging, and although there are definitely bugs to be worked out, it's by no means unplayable.

also, different then theme hospital. TH had npcs that 'wanted' to be helped, in PA the prisoners obvi don't want to be contained... Makes it hard in a realistic, more strategic way.

Dwarf fortress is the same and is free. AND BETTER.

tried the Pirated Version Alpha 12, loved it. just waiting for sale now :D

I havent played it but it looks like a really bad game in my opinion.

Bought into the Alpha well before it was released in Steam. Haven't played it in a bit, only followed the improvements and I can tell you, it was fairly interesting before with half the features it has now, so it's probably even better now. It felt very much sandbox where you would just do whatever you wanted.

Remember that if you buy it now it's more because you want to support them as it is clearly overpriced for what it is and judging from the price tag on their previous games when they were released. If you're put off by bugs and unfinished features, don't get it just yet. Get Theme Hospital in GOG if you fancy it that much, it's still great fun! :)

Really good game

It's very similar to Theme Hospital, which is one of my favorite games. In terms of gameplay (not humor), Prison Architect felt better than Theme Hospital when I played an earlier alpha of it. I'm waiting until it's done before I decide to buy it though.

It's effectively rendered unplayable once you got a big prison (even with a monster rig). I'd wait or get it at a discount for when they finally fix the memory leaks and performance issues.

I posted a short review a few days ago.

I waited to grab my copy until I could get it cheap. Paid off, getting it for $11. Quite fun to be honest :)

it's been a lot of fun for me, but i don't have much of anything specific to say about why. i usually build a new prison every new alpha version or two. i have a few videos of it on youtube
