Avoid using link shorteners, as they obscure the destination of the link, making it difficult for users to know what they're clicking.
Looking at the site in question it seems as though the link is basically a referral. These also aren't allowed here.

It's not really a referral- I'm asking for votes on something and giving a direct link to the page to vote for it. I get no more benefit out of somebody searching it up on google than I do with someone searching it up. I'm not getting any guaranteed bonus as a result of someone doing a task.

But the point remains, as thegodoftitsandwine said, that SG rules tell you to avoid using link shorteners. Why didn't you update the OP with the full direct link, even when he provided it for you?
