It's intentional. We felt it could be demotivating for people with low votes and it can also influence how people vote if they see who has how many votes before they vote themselves.
All votes are saved in the database though, and on a separate spread sheet. We may link to it at the end for full disclosure.

"We felt it could be demotivating for people with low votes"
This event is to appreciate everyone and their art styles and inspire people to do something fun. A person with no votes may feel discouraged from entering next week and so on, and that's not what we want. I love everyone's submissions, be it art major or kindergarten level. The fact that people are taking time to create their unique look is inspiring. Not one look is the other alike and it's all from their vision based on a very limiting challenge.

That's why you have 3 votes! :) To be able to choose which appeal to YOU the most.
Personally I went with 1 digital and 2 hand painted on each challenge this time. I also try to put mine on people that have bold ideas more than just perfect results. That's what's great though, each person can decide for themselves what they value the most from a piece of art. Do you like blue colours a lot? Vote for a blue painting. Do you like papercraft? Vote for the origami one. Damn, now I want to make an origami version for a challenge however that would work :P

Oh, sorry, I misundertood the sentence and thought that was all referring to the voting part :\
I understand your point :)
I was just curious to see if anyone had voted for mine and found strange to have to "vote" (fictitiously) to be able to see it, that's all :)

Shame I couldn't find the time to participate last week due to my mental and psychical health, but seeing what everyone else did is pretty cool!

COUNTDOWN TO Closing of Voting on Week 3!
This weeks challenges: Neuschwanstein and Parthenon. We'd love to have your submission!
Bonus host points
Each week the two hosts gets to pick 1 image from each challenge and reward 5 bonus points in their challenge, and 3 bonus points in their co-host's challenge. These were the picks and motivations for week 2:
EvilBlackSheep:
I loved the source of inspiration Kuzurreesh picked for his coloring of the building, and the result is simply stunning. Plus it must have taken them a crazy amount of time to realize that by hand. My favorite for this week. 5 points.
I loved the vibrant colors and the use of chalk pastels in Swift's entry. The sky's colors are just stunning. 3 points.
lmxn:
Onlytwin's imaginative submission was unexpected and got a chuckle out of me. Very creative, kudos for thinking out of the box! (5 points)
There were a few dark variants of Sagrada Familia but TreeB's submission is my favourite. The greyscale palette really worked and gave the colouring a most ominous feeling. (3 points)
Current leaderboard
Things are heating up as we've collected the votes from Week 2. There's only a 1 point difference between the top 3 artists! Another person to take notice of is Swift, who is the first artist to get bonus points from two hosts. Keep up the good work everyone!
And finally, the two winning submissions of Week 2:
