Not really, It's a visual show of how the website is built, each container being a new level.

Good for people like me who has to find info from the site to show on mods I do.

Oh wait, you're kind of right. This is the blog post from Mozilla that first introduced the 3D feature.
It says that the feature was integrated into Firefox based on that Tilt addon.
