I'm sorry but I see no point in your suggestion, if you want the game than just get it, or do as it was mentioned above if you want luck to decide, what you proposed would open so many exploit opportunities and overload the site with pointless GAs.

To themselves you mean? You can just activate the gift yourself if you want, entering your own giveaway beats the point of steamgifts. I'm not sure how it goes in the new site, but I believe in the old steamgifts the minimal number of entries to get CV was 2 or rather one more entree then number of copies given.

As long as if its the giveaway maker that wins that they don't get any CV for the giveaway. But if you want the game, either by 2 copies and activate one or just activate the one you are thinking of giving away.

If you want the game for yourself, just keep it. If you want to give it, give it and there is no need to try to win it for yourself. If you are unsure, think about it some more and then decide. Putting up a prize, but then trying to win it yourself just isn't gifting imo.
