I'm looking for fun racing games to play on PC.
Nothing to serious just something fun.
I thought about buying NFS Rivals but it seems to get a lot of hate.

Can you folks recommend me some fun racing games on pc ?

FlatOut:UC is great game, very good remake of FlatOut 2.
BTW: Flatout Complete pack is now 9.99

I recommend Flatout 2 though. It has waaay better soundtrack and mod support with some pretty cool mods.

I recommend Flatout 2/Ultimate Carnage too. Fast and furious and tru arcade-racing game. Plus great and accurate soundtrack.

"Nothing to serious just something fun." - sounds just like Flatout 2 or Flatout UC.

So you want an arcade racer? Get GRID 1, best arcade racer on PC. Or DTM Race Driver 3 (Toca Race Driver 3 it might be called elsewhere).

Screamer and POD Gold from GOG. Outrun 2006: Coast 2 Coast from other places if you don't mind that. Not sure of legal places unfortunately, though maybe a physical copy could be located.

People who can wait for sales. They are some great old school arcade racing games. I own both on disc myself, though really need to get POD from GOG, since the disc copy hates more recent operating systems.

Assuming for the moment that you are totally ignorant about both GOG.com and the games Delta mentioned, why would you take the time to denigrate something you apparently know nothing about? It would have been much better for you, socially, to have simply asked for more information.

I own most of them and enjoy them, some more then others. Not everyone has the same taste in games. Games that you might enjoy (like say Dungeon Defenders) I might think are no good.

He just said recommend some racing games on PC and thats just want I did. Many have demos, all have video and screen shots so that he can make up his own mind.

Dungeon Defenders is meh, the only reason I have so many hours in it is because of the stupid market system and I left my computer on to use it. I probably played a good fraction of the total count :p

Most of them are total crap. Simbin games, ridge racer, NFS, test drive ferrari, post apocalyptic mayhem, insane are garbage.

Yes it's only an opinion. But this is why i think so:
Simbin games are boring and have no content. I played couple of them and got bored after couple of hours.
Ridge racer, i'm not even talking about it.
NFS series are absolute crap. I've played both shift's and AI made me delete those games. HP is just a cheap remake, most wanted copy of burnout, undercover just too ugly.
Test drive ferrari is too difficult, he's asking for fun games, not for frustrating and boring.
And those other two gets boring after 10 minutes.

And i really love racing games.

Test Drive Unlimited (1&2). although they are oriented to MP and not a lot of players play right now. I spend some great afternoons just driving around Ibiza and Oahu.

Cannot recommend Burnout Paradise enough, that is one incredible game

And it isn't necessarily a racing game, though a lot of the missions are races, but Driver San Francisco is really good too

If You want arcade racing game then Grid 1 is perfect for You.
If YOu don't have money You can try out Racer.
Also noone mentioned about Life for Speed, which is one the best racing games on PC.

TrackMania² has a big online following. But you should try the demo first. It's a great game, but since it has no collision-detection between cars, it may not be, what you want.

I had some fun with the online-modes of NFS:Hot Pursuit. Also I can recommend Sonic and Sega All Star Racing Transformed. I haven't played both recently, so I cannot comment on how many players there are.

The best racing game you will see for steam is burnout paradise city.

The best driving game on steam is trackmania without a doubt, also the best game to spend time in, it's so damn fun and challenging!

I do have both and beat the first one, got the entire collection so far of the 2nd and i tell you it's worth the money.
