The faq says something about once you've collected all stickers for a page you unlock the page permanently, whatever that means. maybe it will be a profile background

I'm just hoping they become backgrounds afterwards because the ones that you get by crafting suck, in the past they've always been nice but this set is just too dark and barely visible.

I think Steam's FAQ says you won't get duplicates until you've collected them all. Makes collecting them a little less tedious, at least.

How are the contents of the sticker packs decided?
Packs will contain three stickers associated with one or more pages from the sticker book.
The stickers are assigned randomly, however you will never receive the same sticker twice until you have received them all.
