Get Deus Ex 1 and Human Revolution. Invisible War kinda sucks, but the other two are fantastic.

DEHR is one of those must haves, if you're RPG-gamer who wants story and doesn't need to kill everyone. Also, I think Augmented Edition of HR doesn't add anything to game, only artbook and some videos?
DE1 is great game, but only if old graphics doesn't scare you - it's one of the best games ever.
IW have this problem that it's sequel to one of the best games ever, and it's not even close to it. I think it's a good game, but good is not enough when your predecessor was a masterpiece. Add few stupid decisions (for example, gameplay-wise: every gun use same ammo, so if you shoot all your bullets in your main gun you're screwed anyway; and story wise: your main enemy who is supposed to be all secretive has a recruting booth in the middle of academy) and you're getting something that just really asks to be hated.

I think you should just play them all in order to be honest. Worst comes to worse you don't enjoy the second and skip to HR :)
