So.. the video shows people being really stupid and causing either the deaths of others or themselves, or both in some cases.

Lot of those issues would not have happened if people had something called common sense. The only ones I feel bad for are the ones that where collateral damage from a person's stupidity.

The only thing coming out fo a TV or computer screen that could ever change my life was Fight Club. This is not even inspirational, and is just hilariously overdramatized to a level where I can't actually take it seriously.

How did Fight Club change your life?

It changed the way I perceive the world around me, and generally the way I see it too. The part about consumerism was really influential on me, but then again I was a teenager. I must say I still go by a lot of things from that movie, and I don't value things that other people would count "normal things that should be important for you".

Fight club isn't overdramatized? I mean, It's a pretty good black comedy, but I can't really see it as a life changer.

Yeah, no. Overlaying it with sad music just makes it lose most of its impact. It's like playing an overly dramatic violin solo over an unsuitingly serious video, it just shows how hard the video maker is trying to manipulate the viewers emotions through effort and not content. It can have an opposite effect.

I guess this CAN change the point of view only for people who are actually driving and are aware that they are responsible for human lives.

This is only really going to change your life if you drive like a dick and/or don't have a reasonably cautious approach to roads and their associated hazards.

I was hoping for great things, and recognise the producer's creditable efforts to tug at the viewers' heart strings with emotional music and a succession of unrelentingly melancholy scenes, all delivered with the subtlety and grace of a gang of grizzled workmen breaking tarmac with pneumatic drills during a thunderstorm. Sadly my life remains resolutely unchanged...

The sort of tedious repetition of practically identical scenes reminded me of a Teletubbies episode, where the creators appear driven by a grim, bloody-minded determination to keep on and on and on and on repeating the same theme (and even the same clip) until any child with a pulse will have had the message painfully driven into them like a sharp spear through a hapless pig.
