Depends on who it is and how they're offering that $10. Sometimes these deals are real, sometimes not. Trade safe always and feel free to share the details with me if you want a better analysis of the situation. :)

I'm not sure if this was meant as a joke or if you're actually being serious. I also don't know how you define those two terms, but I think most people would disagree with you.
I know and you're right.
Regardless, he just said I was right in my assumptions so...

So I had enough of this and actually added him and asked him why such a high price. He knew about it and apparently wanted to buy it for 10 bucks because a friend said he'd pay 15 for it. He already traded it. If you don't believe me, I've got the entire conversation HERE

Well, this is how I define the two. Ripping Off: overcharging for an item, getting the other party to overpay for the actual value of the item, but both parties know and agree on the transaction price before hand. Scamming: basically fraud, not delivering on what was promised before hand.
Having established that, I can see where the OP comes from. Okay, you can say it sounds like he's ripping off the other guy (agreeing to $10 while the game is about $7), but he's not afraid of being ripped off (that would be if the game costs $15, and he only gets $10 from the other guy). He is afraid of being scammed (that's when he gets nothing in return even though being promised $10, giving away the game while the other guy does some transaction trick and denies him any money)
So the difference is pretty clear to me. And you probably interpret that he doesn't know about the actual game value, and call him out for making this thread, trying to gather info (actual game value) to see if $10 is overpriced or underpriced (hence ripping off or being ripped off). While the way I see it: he knows the game costs $7, he knows the offer is better, but that's why he is worried in trading and potential scam, that if something is too good to be true, then it probably ain't (well sure, the difference is only $3, but still). He's just being concerned and asks for trading opinions.

I don't know what to think anymore to be honest. I mean, Peroxide made me feel bad, because I never seen it in that way. I'm just scared to be scammed since I thought it was a pretty high offer for that game. But I rip someone off if that trade is real. If I tell him he can lower the price he still could be a scammer.

Somebody offered me 10 bucks for my key of DD + DLC. It sounds kinda fishy to me, since it has been a bundle game recently. What do you guys think?
