There were 3 themes up when I started and Minesweeper seemed to fit them all and be a game we all knew and so I went with it. I'm not sure what to do in the future if it gets weirder but that's all part of the fun :)

Fantastic idea, provides a nice challenge when selecting and also great to see how others interpret the theme and how they translate it into their shots. Hopefully it'll be successful enough that you'll do another round sometime!
I'm participating in picking something from my screenshots without actually participating. :P Gave myself a time limit of 5 mins per theme so I wouldn't just get lost in browsing screenshots while struggling to pick the perfect shot, so just went with my gut picks.

This turned to be much more difficult to handle than i thought :) Particularly on the formatting aspect. As others have done already, feel free to contact me if you feel something can be improved :)
I'd say next time make one thread per theme, have a dedicated period for entry submission, then link those entries in the respective OP and make a poll with all of them and have a dedicated voting period.

Another reason to have distinct submission and voting periods is that it puts all the contestants on an equal footing. It feels like those who submitted early had a pretty big advantage simply because their entries were seen by more people.

That's true. Also I'm finding it very hard to naviagate all the new entries. I like WaxWorms suggestion: one thread per theme, dedicated period for submission, put them somewhere central and make voting easier.
Actually, it would already be easier if it would only be one (or maybe two) themes only. The fact that you, Swordoffury, added so many later made the whole thread very difficult to navigate.

I wanted to try something new , and have some of you participate a bit too.
I will submit several themes , and I want you to post a screenshot of any game session that matches the theme. I'd prefer if the screenshot comes from your game session and not from the internet. You are authorized to enter in every theme, but you cannot give different screenshots for the same theme. For new members, you can add a screenshot using this format:
Once a screen has been posted, other users will have to vote for it (by commenting on the post and saying ‘+1’)Once the event is closed (august 24) , I'll invite the 2 or 3 best contributors for each theme (depending on the success of the event) in a temporary steam group for some exclusive giveaways.
For each theme, I will also post an invite only link (level 0) of a game so that spectators also have a chance to win. The screen does NOT have to be linked to these games, but can be if you have them and feel like it.
