For motion sickness while traveling-> maybe audio books? . I mostly listen to audiobooks on plane, because it reduces noise around me and gives some entertainment.
Otherwise sometimes if I have to wait for somebody, mostly at other companies location, I just use my phone ..itยดs looks more business than reading in a erotic book... puzzle games like mathdoku (sudoku with calculations), e-magazines..things like this

Everything that involves spinning your body and/or head works. Look up pilot and astronaut training, they use rotating mechanisms to strengthen person's immunity to nausea. Here's an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRYEYZirETk
Regular person can do it at home or park - use carousel or something similar, spin until you feel you're gonna vomit, rest for a bit, spin in other direction. Worked for me, I never feel motion sick anymore ;)

I tried more lo-fi version of this, it had smooth spinning, without jerking back and forth, but was also 3-axis =) What can I say, I managed to spend 3 minutes in there and didn't get sick =)
So yeah, practice more, and you'll get better and better ;)
P.S. another way to train your brain is to play Half-Life 2 in Oculus Rift. DK1 and DK2 will get you dizzy almost right away when you start playing :D Though it gets progressively easier each time you try. Good luck, mate =)

I usually open fb or text message my friends. Might read some manga if I'm really bored or listen to some music. But if you've got motion sickness I'd suggest not reading anything from your mobile while traveling, that doesn't end up well. So I guess music is your best bet?

Yea, sometimes I listen to music in the bus, but sometimes would like to do something more than that. I can read for a short while while the bus is moving (like 5 mins) with no side effect, but usually I'll feel slightly dizzy if i look at my phone longer than that.

Stare out the window and think about your day. What happened and what you will be doing. Be lost in thought.

I find that sometimes I have nothing to do when waiting for bus, I tend to check fb on my mobile but there are times where there is nothing to read.
So I am wondering what do you do during that moment of free time? I am looking for something simple to read, any suggestions are welcomed. :)
Also I have slight motion sickness so I usually just stare at the road when I'm inside the bus.
Obligatory GA :)
