That worked out better than expected.

Although it has a certain reputation here, I actually quite enjoyed fortix. Aside from it being pretty easy and incredibly short, it's actually a pretty fun casual game. I played it whilst the other half was watching x factor or some guff and I just wanted something non-taxing to idle away the time whilst that shite was on TV. Did the trick.

So, what was the last game you played that you thought would be toss but actually ended up being ok?

Yup, Fortix is really good. I'm just waiting for a discount on Fortix 2. Maybe during the Winter sale...

I quite enjoyed Psychonauts. The controls are shit, but the game is just lovely. Should have played it earlier.

I also desperately need a new graphics card. I can't even be arsed to play anything because unless it's a 2006 game, I won't be able to get decent FPS :(

Yeah, Fortix most definitely does not have a bad reputation. Unlike, say, Horrid Henry, Revelations 2012, etc.

For me it was Cave Story+.

I won it here and the only reason i really entered for it was because some friend kept saying that game was amazing, i didn't really expect too much from it but i ended loving it and finishing in 1 sit.
