Tier 2 for the orc-fightin'!

Tier 3. I like to collect things.
Tier 4. $70 for a T-shirt. How could I say no?!
I don't want anything. Go away and close the door on your way out.

Even for free I wouldnt want to have that garbage, not after the dirty tricks they pulled off

they will sell day 1 DLCs, and one of those is a tribute to a dead developer who worked on the game.
they claim it will be to support his family, but only if you buy it from certain states in the US

I cant find that price on GMG. Even isthereanydeal shows only $45 as lowest.

Remember if you think this is a way to get Shadows of War without paying bloodmoney to Warner Brothers... think again;

"To cover costs for physical merchandise a deduction of $60 + tax will be made for qualifying bundles. Custom payment split ratios still apply to remaining payment."

Also, only really interested in Canada, bit too much 10 for just that. Hope we get some good giveaways though.

Seems hypocritical. Why not skip the game completely and play Assassins Creed instead ? It's the same game anyway.

That's pretty much always been my stick with Humble... buy games, 95% of the cases 100% to charity.

I'm going with T3. Too good to pass up.

Thanks for the post, Lext. :)

Every second one seems to be a Monthly rebundle, so I doubt anyone even bats an eye now when this happens.

Tier 2 was 4.81 euros a minute ago, now it's 4.77 already. I really want the two games in Tier 3 though, so might wait for a bit .

How did you lock a BTA tier again? I think by buying Tier 1 and then just going to Purchases and increasing the amount right? Just did that :)

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Down to 4.75 now

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

To save a BTA tier, just leave the tab open in a non-Chrome browser (Chrome will deload tabs to save memory if you haven't disabled that feature). As long as the tab still has HB open you have 1 week to checkout at that price.

To really lock a tier though, checkout with that price showing at any PWYW, even a penny, and buy it for yourself (not a gift). You can then add money later on the claim page. You can not add money later to gifts.

Shadow of War is bundled -2 weeks after release. Gotta be some new record outside the old Greenlight bundles. :P
I would also laugh so hard if it really gets on the bundle list. =D

Comment has been collapsed.

I think most people that are reluctant to pick it up will wait for a tier 1 bundle, or at least tier 2 with some nice bonuses :P

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

It will be a more interesting thing. Since it is technically bundled now, Enhanced Steam and ITAD will now show it as a bundled game. Meaning, some people who might have bought it could possibly postpone that now, thinking that it was so bad they had to bundle it early or that if it was already bundled once, then a rebundle is only a matter of time.

Seems a bit too irrational to me but after all the crap they are up to I kind of wish it will hurt their profit margins, not that it's likely that they would learn from the experience. I'm not entirely convinced that people in general care though.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

They don't. The intelligent, sensible buyer, in general, is a myth—especially when it comes to entertainment, and within in, especially with video games, where the herding instinct is one of the main driving forces (just look at PUBG).

Assume that anything older than four months is fair game, except for, say, the early unlocks which tend to be better.
One of these is from January and the other from March.

"Resell" might cause a debate, but I don't see why he couldn't gift you the BTA (you won't be able to increase the payment though). That's totally fine regarding Humble's policies.
