The community is already receding. I think it's too late to buy BC2.

I bought BFBC2 for 5$ and BF3 for 10$ and think they are 99% the same. Both games lack maps. You can only play like 2-3 maps and its just not that great of gameplay wiht 64 people. Its a Casual-Game with no competition at all, I prefer SC2 - but it was probably worth the money.

BFBC2 is better than BF3 because BFBC2 exists.

I'll take a look at BF3 once it is purchasable. And no, Origin does not qualify.

I prefer BF3, but... If I had to choose a Battlefield game, I'd take Battlefield Vietnam. That game was so broken, yet so freaking fun.

well i played bfbc2 and bf 3 for a long time the prime reason for me not liking bf3 is beacuse EAs buisness model that inludes 250 DLCs and make the full game cost really high while bfbc2 has one expansion(vietnam) and only 1 DLC (i think it's spetz kit) so i generaly played more bfbc2 beacuse i had a feel that i had a complete game i know reason is stupid but hey

both are bad games. no season pass or a lot of dlc's so they are bad.

i have never played bf3 but i got bfbc2 and that is a lot of fun especially if you have some friends to play it with

Playing BF3 made BC2 unplayable for me for some reason.

I would say that BF3 is an improved version of BFBC2. They took almost everything they did right in the first and apply it to the second with some boosts.

Still, I think BFBC2 is a truly worthy game, and as I will wait to get BF3 Premium when its price drops (probably when BF4 is released) I will have a great time playing BFBC2 meanwhile.

I think BC2 is more fun, and enjoyable to play. On the otherside, BF3 has more content even without those crap DLC.
and BC2 still have a lot of players, but I would buy it only if it's on sale.
