Man, I was just reading about that. Sorry to hear your friends were in there. Something similar happened a couple of years ago in the town where I went to university, and I'd like to say it helped change the laws or push for better enforcement, but in the end couple of people went to jail and nothing really changed for better concerning the safety of people in clubs in general.

The fire was started when GOODBYE TO GRAVITY's fireworks show went awry, creating panic among the hundreds inside, many of whom scrambled for the exit."
You have to be really stupid to have fireworks in a small in-door area, especially when it's packed with people and only has one exit. It's quite unfortunate that so many people died and so many got injured because of someone's idiocy.
I'm sorry to hear you lost friends there. I hope your government (and any other for that matter) will ban the usage of pyrotechnics in clubs unless the club gets a license for it (for which it would have to pass a very strict inspection).

We had a similar accident in my country a few years ago... same problem with fireworks... the place had cheap flammable acoustic foam in the ceiling and not enough exit doors...
