Not really impressed with the bundle, but then again I don't have most of the game, so probably going to get Tier 1.

Sorry for (another) necro..

I was checking this bundle and Gas Guzzlers Extreme, Gas Guzzlers Extreme Full Metal Frenzy DLC and Gas Guzzlers Extreme Full Metal Zombie DLC have "disappeared" (as in "silently removed") from my downloads page. Can someone else confirm this? O_o

So after people complained that they removed Domina they now just remove any trace that the game ever was in a bundle in the hopes people will not notice they get robbed?

It is gone from Humble Weekly Bundle: Iceberg Interactive as well.

One complained about Domina and found later out that he/she looked in the wrong bundle and remembered wrong.
So nothing got removed there.

At least as i remember on the case ~1 month ago.

Considering that instead of a key for Domina I only see:'This content has been removed. We apologize for any inconvenience.' I'm pretty sure they removed the Domina keys from the Humble Jumbo Bundle 11. I have no clue why they did that, especially since my key was revealed (and used a long time ago).

Only bought tier 1 of this bundle so I don't know about the DLC but can confirm that Gas Guzzlers is gone, good thing I had activated the key.
It might be time for me to go through my Humble account looking for unclaimed keys and start saving them just in case.

At this point, I honestly don't understand why SteamGifters aren't all doing just that. We've been seeing games being out of stock and sometimes even removed completely from bundles soooo... that people still don't reveal their keys and save them somewhere is quite baffling to me.

I started doing that years ago when I went to reveal the key of some indie game... aaand saw that it was out of stock. Contacted support and they said they wouldn't be able to get any more keys so they offered me some store credit. That's when I learned that keys are only assigned when you reveal them. I also learned my lesson that day.

It's really baffling to me as well. I know about people that buy Humble Bundles and sit on the unrevealed keys for a year, if not more. Just...utterly puzzling behavior

I forget to do that, when I remember it I usually don't have time to back up what I have, and if I did, I'm not sure I would find where I placed them :|

What do you mean, you're not sure you'd know where to find them? A spreadsheet saved on your hard drive/thumb drive that contains all your leftovers would be easy to locate, wouldn't it? When you say you don't have time.. jeez Adam, do you have a ton of leftovers to back up? :D It sure sounds like it.

I admit that's quite a few indeed! XD. Buuuut at the same time, if you don't start backing up those key and keep buying bundles, the "problem" will only grow bigger, don't you think? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ You don't have to check for every key in one sitting, backing up a few at a time when you can will do the trick eventually. I'm sure you already know all that... I just couldn't help giving my two cents. Sowwy. :3

The problem is big enough to take care of itsefl! :D

I'll start it soonish, just the weekend is a mix of having to do stuff and having no energy. Should be quite easy to categorize the games by their respective bundles.

I think I can relate to that. My current job is kinda draining me so when my two days off are finally there, I don't have much energy left to take care of more important things. I've been procrastinating a lot to be honest with you. But I'm sure you'll be able to tackle that task eventually, I have faith in you Adam! :D

Yeah I'm guilty of that, I have left keys unrevealed for close to a year a few times, it's not something I do all the time tho.

I know it's going to make me look like a bish, but seeing long-time SG users whining that xyz game is out of stock/has disappeared from whatever bundle, I'm like... dude/dudette, you've been around for quite a while, enough to know that this crap happens. If you don't save leftover keys on a spreadsheet as soon as you purchase a bundle, you're kinda asking for trouble. Stop complaining.

Harsh truth but the truth nonetheless.

It's also a bad habit. Keeping unrevealed keys on Humble usually allowed to "keep track" of what was unused. If you traded a game from Humble, you'd knew the key was guaranteed (well, almost) to work if unrevealed and you could even send it as a gift (so the other party could be sure that you didn't have access to the key yourself). However, with so much "out of stock" products and Humble banning accounts of people who gift too much there's no reason to do that anymore. Still, it's a bad habit you need to change and you also have to go back a few years of bundles to recover all the keys, which is very time consuming :(

I don't know how many keys you'd have to back up, but yes, it can definitely be a time-consuming process. Especially if you have unrevealed keys on multiple platforms, not only HB. And yeah, habits are hard to break. To be honest with you, I don't think I had that many myself when I decided to finally save those who were still unrevealed... 50 or something like that. But can't you filters keys on HB so that only the unrevealed ones are displayed? I guess that could help speeding up things a bit.

Yeah, just base game from a T1 purchase here, but I can confirm any mention of it is gone, not just from the download page, but also from the Humble Library and Keys & Entitlements tabs, as if it had never been in the bundle to begin with.

The game is still in my Steam library so far, so they might have just revoked unactivated keys.
Guess we'll have to hear from users who revealed and saved their keys to know for sure.

The game (but not the DLCs, for some odd reason?) is now self-published by Gamepires, as is their newer game, SCUM (originally published by Devolver Digital).

I wonder if that's got something to do with this situation?
Anybody who got T3 of the Survive or Die Bundle to check if their SCUM keys are still there?

I've mailed Iceberg Games yesterday and (at least the support) seems unaware of how or why this happened.

You’d have to ask Humble. Maybe the keys ran out or it was removed because it was never activated.

We have no access to such matters with them.

I have also created a support ticket for Humble Bundle, which is still open. Let's see what they have to say about this.

Hello there,
Thanks for reaching out to Humble Bundle Support. I apologize for our delayed response. We've experienced a larger than normal volume of tickets and are working to get to everyone as soon as possible.
Sadly, we have been unable to secure said keys due to various factors despite our best, repeated efforts. At this point as we still do not have the keys in question and likely may not get them. This is why they were removed. We want to apologize sincerely for the inconvenience this has caused.
Please let me know if there are additional questions.
All the best,
-Alex

Can't do much with apologies... I understand Humble Bundle's operating model where they don't reserve keys for each purchase, but basically that is what they should do. Guess it's no use trying to get compensated. I better start putting all keys into a spreadsheet or something.

So the whole bundle concept is a scam.
If i buy a bunch of keys, i expect to have them available at all time i please, leave them unrevealed as long as i want them to and redeem them when i see fit.
According to their answer, what i indeed thought i was in the background, they keep selling the keys in the pool and if you don't reveal them in time your are fked off your purchase.
After the gift link shenanigans leading to bans, fuck it, i'm gonna reveal everything.

There's no reason not to just reveal and save in the first place. The bundle is from 6 years ago how long do you wanna sit on the key for lol.

This, and it kinda bugs (me) that these threads constantly are being necroed right now (atleast make 1 generic topic about it if you want to share your complaints about it) We all know humble does these practises by now, so nothing new is really being added here in this thread and just make other people think every time there is a new bundle.

How some people think they can hold on to keys forever, even steam itself could eventually go down, legally we own nothing.

Jesus Christ, not even itch.io would dare selling those in 2022

Speaking of the devil, itch.io has the bad habit of completely removing games from your account. If a developer removes a game, you don't have a "depot" left or backed up by itch.io so you're still able to access what you bought.

If someone knows a lawyer, this would make for quite the class action law suit. We as gamers need to stand up for our rights and stop allowing key stores to scam us. If anything, only a small number of people would have complained over the thousands of removed and oversold games. If you buy a game on any system and any console you should have the right to always access that game without it being removed or being told your key is no longer valid.
Think of the hundreds of thousands if not millions of unclaimed or oversold HB keys are out there. Then do the math based on the potential cost of some of these games. They would be making a huge profit at the expense of anyone unfortunate enough to not know better.
