I don't know how it happened, probably I'm just stupid. I bought Project Cars on 28 December around 2:30 AM not knowing that I have won this game here on 27 December 10 AM.
Anyway, in that case FAQ says "you should not mark the gift as "Received", or reveal the key if the option is available", but I reavealed the key :( Is it still possible to not be suspended if I ask the giveaway creator to make another giveaway? I didn't use the key of course.

Just tell the GA creator you already own the game and agree to a re-roll. The reason it says to not view the key is so the creator has confidence that you cannot redeem / giveaway / sell the key. You won't get suspended for viewing it.

No. You cannot create a giveaway with a key you've won on a giveaway here.

Even if you could you shouldn't. If you already own a game you win the proper way is like thoughtfulhippo said. Inform the creator and ask for a re-roll preferentially before viewing the key.

You can get suspended for doing something like that on SG. You need to take a few minutes to read the FAQ and Guidelines.

you won't be suspended, but you will make the ga creator doubt the key is still valid, and any issue he has with a new winner will make you look like a cheater.

You can check that for yourself: "An icon with an eye will appear next to the key once it has been viewed by the winner."

This is exactly the reason why I check the Steam profile of the winner of my giveaway winner before sending them the key.

It's hard though sometimes if the winner has 3k+ games in their library. Compare2steam no longer works so you have to just wait for Steam to stop breaking. Do you have any tips for a better website to use?

Steamdb is good for this, I would say.

https://steamdb.info/calculator/

For example, me:
https://steamdb.info/calculator/76561198347099878/
Click on "products" on the left side of the screen and then there is a search bar.

Perfect. Thank you. I have just been waiting like 30 minutes for it to load, but this is so much better.

Ah, this is so useful. I've known about Steamdb for so long and yet never realized it could solve the infinite loading problem of winners with huge libraries. Thanks so much!

Yeah, but this time it wouldn't work. I was dumb enough to buy game AFTER I won it here... I just needed to click the tab in browser, but instead I bought the game and did it outside steam, so I can't return. Best deal ever.

Well, you can always trade the key for some other game you have purchased, if the key you purchased hasn't been activated. There are some people always willing to exchange it. Or if it offers you CV you can make a giveaway on steamgifts.

The one purchased has been activated, otherwise it wouldn't be a thing.

In that case you should ask the giveaway maker for reroll.

Have quite the same situation like that one. But with one of DLC for some game.
I already have base game + some of DLC. Like 49 from them, didn't check on Steam before reveal key (I'm sorry by didn't know about this feature).
I have doubt with SteamDB (working unstable for me) and that days I entered and won this game I'm not available to check on this site (site doesn't work for me those days).

I revealed the key for DLC and tried to activate it, but unfortunately Steam says that I'm already own this DLC. Of course, I didn't share or do smt else with those key and wanna to select a new winner. But giveaway creator doesn't respond to me.

If they don't respond, should I mark it as received or do something else? (if i don't, I think I might get banned?)

Could someone help me to find a solution of this trouble?

From FAQ:

What should I do if I win a game more than once, or if I win a game that I already purchased?
When this occurs, you should contact the giveaway creator and inform them you will not be accepting or redeeming the gift. Explain the situation, and ask the giveaway creator to request a new giveaway winner. During this process you should not mark the gift as "Received", or reveal the key if the option is available. This will help inform us that you are not accepting the gift, and it will prevent you from being suspended for not activating a gift you won. Once the ticket from the giveaway creator is approved for a new winner, the win will be removed from your profile.
When should I mark a gift I won as "Received" or "Not Received"?
You should only mark a gift as "Received" when you have both (i) received the exact game described in the giveaway, and (ii) activated that game on the Steam account you used during registration. In all other instances you should mark the gift as "Not Received" one week after the giveaway has ended.

You should write in the giveaway and wait for response. If you don't get any response you can mark as not received after 7 days but I would just leave the feedback open. It doesn't harm you. Also you won't get suspended as long as you post and explain the situation in the giveaway. AFAIK mods check the giveaway and/or tickets before taking action.

No, you don't mark it as "not received" even if there is no response from the GA creator.
That would be a false statement.
They should leave it open.

The only harmful thing I do is I revealed the key. But I won't use it so it would be nice to don't mark it of any kind.
Thank you! I'll try hard to contact the creator or create a ticket.

Winner can leave the feedback in pending status, if they wish, but it is not necessary. In general winners are asked to provide feedback on a giveaway one week after it has ended. If a winner realizes they already own the game/DLC a giveaway was for, then they should leave a comment on the giveaway to explain the situation to the giveaway creator. After that it is the creator's responsibility to proceed with the situation. If the giveaway creator doesn't respond (or if they don't want to take any action), then the correct thing for the winner to do is to mark the giveaway as "Not Received" when they are able to do so.

You won't get suspended for not activating the DLC for the same reason that you were able to enter in the first place - SG doesn't see if you have a given DLC or not. Also for that reason, you should always double-check before entering a DLC giveaway.
