Chrono Trigger had a fucking annoying sewer level.

When you're done with this list make one for games featuring handily placed human sized ventilation ducts. Or on second thoughts don't :-)

They peeve me, those ducts so oversized that a man might travel within.
Arkham Asylum / City, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, Silent Hill Downpour. Every action film ever.

That's a very nice list you have there. It'd be a shame if something happened to it.

"Star Wars Dark Forces"
Pretty sure you can add the entire series to that.

I just watched a series of game reviews where the reviewer would scream "SEWERS!" every-time a game had a sewer level. Linky for one here, grown up language warning! I had never realized how frequent sewers show up in games, but off the top of my head I remember several. I'd say its a safe bet to claim them the most common non-essential terrain in gaming, ok maybe not most common but top 3 maybe. (towns/cities being usually essential otherwise your NPCS are standing around in a field looking like hippies)
Anyhow I'd like to know what games you guys have played lately or games you can remember that have sewer levels. I'm putting together a list. Who knows I may need it if I snap one-day and start wearing seaweed and stealing teacups for a teacup throne in the sewers.
Sewer Level(s):
Amnesia
Batman Arkham Asylum & City & Lego Version
Broken Sword
Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth
Chrono Trigger
Costume Quest
Dead Island
Dues Ex
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Duke 3D
Diablo 2&3
Elder Scrolls Oblivion (Sewers within 5 minutes of starting)
Elder Scrolls Skyrim (figures!!)
Elder Scrolls Morrowind (I'm seeing a pattern, I'd bet a toe Arena had sewers too!)
Elder Scrolls Arena (Yeay I win a toe!)
Fallout Series (definitely 3 & NV at least)
FEAR series
FF7 (Arguably the Slums are Midgars sewer too!)
Gish
Halflife Opposing Force
Halflife 2 (1 also?)
Hitman 2
Hellgate London (only played 10 min of the demo but all I remember was Sewers)
Killing Floor
Left 4 Dead 1&2
Mario Brothers (a list of MB games that do not include sewer pipes would be shorter)
Max Payne
Metro 2033 (Your not fooling anyone Metro. Metros + toilets = sewer)
Mirrors Edge
Ninja Turtles (always!)
Pokemon Ranger 1
Prince of Persias
Rage
Team Fortress 2 (2fort)
Sewer Shark (could not resist)
Singularity (TIME!)
Soldier of Fortune
Splinter Cell series
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.'s
Star Wars games in general
Summoner
Vampire Bloodlines
The Witcher (Probably the only location the main char isn't seducing something)
The Witcher 2
Plus!!: all of these - thanks movac.
