Thank god my country is too dumb to include taxes to online purchases from outside, So they banned purchasing anything from outside lol.

If your new president is to put his money where his mouth is, he'll try to get that lowered. Tariffs and taxes being anathema to a free market and all that.

But that's 'if' and 'try'. Good luck. The next few years will be... interesting, unfortunately.

Sounds like they had to increase taxes of goods and services to offset the recent (upcoming?) elimination of income tax.

Was watching LN+ after lunch and saw the news, they really don't want us paying a single dollar to any company outside the country it seems, good thing I stocked up on games before Steam switched us to USD XD
But in reality this is just a desperate measure to try to match the exchange rate to the dólar blue, they ran out of money during the campaign and now there's no option but to quickly close the gap between all their made up exchange rates and reality. The next couple of years gonna be awful.
