What is best scale?
I grew up with HO. Seems like a good middle ground. Small enough to be reasonable, but large enough to have good detail and features like light and smoke. I really love N scale when done well because I think it's adorable. O scale always seemed too big for just a hobby at home, unless you had like a huge basement (and I do mean huge) where you could set it up permanently. O scale is probably good for displays to the public like Christmas decorations and such. I honestly had no idea S and Z existed.
